Jerie
Charnow, MSW, BCD is the owner and director of LTC
America, LLC. She is an
acknowledged expert and advocate in the fields of aging,
disability and long term care. A pioneer and
leader in care management and long-term care planning,
she has been consulting mature adults for more than
three decades.
Her
impeccable credentials as a Diplomate in Clinical Social
work, a professional geriatric care manager, and a life
and health insurance agent combine to give her a unique
perspective on the individual, the family and their
needs.
She
has been an advisor and consultant on various projects,
publications and films relevant to aging, the aged,
disability and long term care and has been a frequent
lecturer for professional organizations and community
groups on aging, long term care planning and insurance.

Owner/Director of LTC America, LLC, a firm that specializes
in planning and insuring for the middle and later years, Ms. Charnow
works with experienced professionals and represents the leading insurance carriers.

graduate of Adelphi University’s School of Social Work
and the Brookdale Post Master’s Program in
Gerontological Social Work, Ms. Charnow is a member of
numerous organizations including the National
Association of Social Work, the American Society for the Aging,
The Elder Taskforce of New York Business Group on Heath and the Society of
Financial Services Professionals. She is one of the
founders of the National Association of Professional
Geriatric Care Managers.
